
Fat Tire Charity Ride

Join us for the 28th Annual Fat Tire Charity Ride, a scenic and leisurely 21.5-mile bicycle ride around Geneva Lake. This fun-filled event invites cyclists of all levels to enjoy the beautiful lake views while supporting local charities.
Event Highlights:
- Flexible Start: Begin your ride at your convenience from either Champs Sports Bar & Grill in Lake Geneva or The Ridge Hotel in Lake Geneva. The ride kicks off at 9:00 AM with an unorganized start time, allowing participants to proceed at their own pace.
- Scenic Route: The paved route circles Geneva Lake, passing through Lake Geneva, Fontana, and Williams Bay, offering picturesque views of the lake and surrounding areas.
- Rest Stops: Enjoy evenly spaced rest stops at popular local establishments, including Champs Sports Bar & Grill, Mag Pies, The Boat House, Luis’s Pizza, The Owl Tavern, Gordy’s Boat House, Chuck’s Lake Shore Inn, Harpoon Willies, Lucke’s Cantina, Pier 290, Bar 55, and Mars Resort.
- Pig Roast: After the ride, participants are treated to a pig roast at Champs Sports Bar & Grill from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, included with registration. Additional tickets for non-riders are available for purchase.
- Charitable Cause: Proceeds from the event benefit local organizations, including the Tree House Child & Family Center and Open Arms Free Clinic, among others.
Registration Details:
- Online Registration: Opens in spring and closes on August 30, 2025, at noon.
- In-Person Registration: Available at The Ridge Hotel on September 19 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, and at Champs Sports Bar & Grill on September 20 from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM.
- T-Shirts: Pre-registered riders receive a T-shirt based on their requested size. T-shirts not picked up by 11:00 AM on the day of the event may be distributed to day-of registrants.
